Cachar police launched operation in two different location of the district and seized a huge amount of Yaba tablets and suspected heroin on April 21. Three people arrested in connection of it.
In an anti-narcotics operation near Katakhali, Salganga River, police managed to seized 10,000 YABA tablets from a man. The market value of the seized items would be Rs 3 Crore.
One person arrested in connection of it.

Based on tip off, Cachar police launched operation near Ghungoor area, Silchar from where police managed to seized suspected heroin. The heroin was in 39 nos (5g) of small plastic containers. Police also arrested two drug paddlers in connection of it.
They are identified as Joydeep Das & Rahul Das.
Further investigation is going on.
