Cachar Police on September 20, launched an operation from where they seized Rs.15.5 Crore worth Yaba Tablet and crystalline methamphetamine and arrested two in connection of it.
Based on reliable inputs, they launched an operation and intercepted a truck in the area of Baskandi, Cachar. By searching the truck police recovered 18,000 Yaba Tablet and 2 Kg of crystalline methamphetamine. The estimate value of the seized items would be Rs.15.5 Crore.
Two arrested in the connection of it. To make drug free Assam Police has launched the operation.
Further investigation is going on.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has laud on the effort of the authorities in the bust drug.
