Based on intelligence report, on January 14, Cachar police launched an operation in the area of Rangirighat, Sonai, Cachar. Police seized 9000 Yaba tablets, which market value would be Rs. 2 crore. Three people arrested in connection of it.
The arrested people identified as Prabindra Riyang, Baharul Islam and Prabhat Barman.
The police have started a detailed investigation to expose the drug trafficking network active in the area.
