Cachar district is set to conduct HSLC and HS Exam from February 15, 2025. To ensure fair and transparent exams, Cachar administration has issued a security measures on February 11.
District Magistrate Mridul Yadav issued an order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to prevent cheating and any external interference during the exams.
The HSLC exams will be held from February 15 to March 3, 2025, across 44 centers, while the Higher Secondary exams will run from February 13 to March 17, 2025, in 28 schools and colleges.
Whereas, in order to hold the examination in free, fair and transparent manner and to restrict the involvement of any undesired external influence, no malpractices should be allowed during the entire examination process, which might vitiate the peaceful environment in and around the examination venues.
To maintain exam fair free the following measure to be followed.
a) Gathering of people within the radius of 100 meters of each examination centers other than candidates, scribes and officials engaged for conduct & monitoring of examination.
b) Carrying of prohibited items in the examination halls by the candidates such as,
i. Mobile Phones (even in switch off mode).
ii. Any electronic equipment’s or programmable device or storage media devices such as smart watches, health bands, electronic pen/ scanner, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones or any other such devices either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a
communication device.
iii. Calculator, pen drives, bits of paper etc.
iv. Textual material (printed or written) and
v. Any item which could be used for adopting unfair means.
Violation of this promulgation will be punishable under relevant provisions of law. Given under my hand and seal on this 11th day of Feb. 2025.
