On 7 February in the early hours a robbery incident unfold in the area of Salganag, Udharbond of Cachar. A gang of twelve robbers attacked the peaceful neighborhood of Salganga, causing panic among residents. They target the home of Bikash Roy, a well-known businessman in the Udharbond area of Cachar district.
Cachar: Robber Gang Terrifying Entry and Threats
The gang of robbers entered the house forcefully the Roy family’s home around 1:45 am. The gang has weapons on their hands. Once they entered the house, they gathered everyone and tied their hands. They even threatened the family with their guns and demanded money and jewelry. The situation goes scary when targeted Roy’s child and threatened to hurt the child if they didn’t get what they wanted.
Even though Roy said there wasn’t much money at home, the robbers didn’t believe him. They forced him to go to his nearby shop and get money. The people who witnessed the situation they told it was really frightening as the robbers took everything they could carry and ran away. They even fired their guns a few times before leaving, which made everyone nearby very scared.
The total amount of things the robbers took, including cash and jewelry, will be Rs 12 lakh. As the sun rose, the traumatized Roy family struggled to come to terms with what had happened.

They also launch an investigation. Utilizing every resource at their disposal, including the deployment of a sniffer dog, law enforcement officials worked tirelessly to trace the elusive criminals.
