Eligibility Criteria of BSF Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification
SI (Staff Nurse)
- (i) 10+2 or Equivalent
- (ii) Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme.
- (iii) Registration as General Nurse and Midwife with Central or State Nursing Council.
Desirable: Experience in the field of Tuberculosis, Hospital Administration, Sister Tutor, Public health, Pediatrics, Psychiatry.
ASI (Lab Technician)
Essential Qualification
- (i) 10+2 with science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
- (ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution of the Central or the State Government.
ASI (Physiotherapist) Essential Qualification
- (i) 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution.
- (ii) Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an Institution recognized by the Central or the State Governments (with 06 months experience in a hospital of the Central or State Government or in a hospital or in an Institution recognized by the Central or State Government is desirable).
Inspector (Librarian) Educational Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience
Two years’ professional experience in a library under the Central Government or State Government or autonomous or statutory organization or public sector undertaking or university or recognized research or educational institution.
SI (Vehicle Mechanic) Educational Qualification
Three years Diploma/Degree in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Government.
Constable (Technical)
- (i) Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board or Institution and
- (Group-C Post)
- (a) Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade; or
- (b) Three years work experience in respective trade from a reputed firm.
Head Constable (Veterinary) educational Qualification
- (a)12th Class from a recognized Board.
- (b)Possessing minimum one year course in Veterinary Stock Assistant from any recognized Institution and having at least one year post qualification experience.
Constable (Kennelman) educational qualification
- (a) 10th Class from a recognized Board;
- (b) Two years experience in handling of animals from Government Veterinary hospital or dispensary or Veterinary College or Government Animals Farm.

Head Constable: Level-4 ₹ 25,500 – 81,100/-
Inspector: Level-7 ₹ 44,900 – 1,42,400/-
The Border Security Force selection process consists of the following steps:

- For all Group-B category post: Rs. 200 + Rs. 47.20 charge
- For all Group-C category post: Rs. 100+Rs.47.20 charge
- Head Constable (Veterinary): Rs. 100 +Rs.47.20 charge
- Constable (Kennelman): Rs. 100 +Rs.47.20 charge
- All Female Candidates are exempts from FEE
