BSF Constable Recruitment 2025 for 3588 Vacancies

BSF Constable Recruitment 2025: Boarder Security Force has released a notification for the recruitment of Constable (tradesman) for both Male and Female. There a total of 3588 Vacancies. The candidate who are eligible and interested can apply for the recruitment before 23/8/25.

BSF Constable Recruitment 2025: Notification Details

Online applications are invited from MALE & FEMALE Indian Citizens for filling up 3588 vacancies (3406 Vacancies for Male candidates and 182 Vacancies for Female candidates) for the post of Constable (Tradesman) Exam 2024-25 in Border Security Force in the pay Matrix Level-3.

Before applying online application, Candidates are advised to go through the requirement of educational certificate, trade experience certificate, age, physical standards, physical efficiency test, etc and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post before applying. BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process, if he/she is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

BSF Constable Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable(Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator) and Constable (Upholster):

(a) “Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board:

(b) i) Two years certificate course from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade;

Or

ii) One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute or Government affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade;

For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber), Constable (Sweeper) and Constable(Khoji/Syce):

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;

(b) Must be proficient in respective trade;

(c) Must qualify trade test in the respective trade conducted by recruitment board.

For the trades of Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carrier) and Constable (Waiter):

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;

(b) National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-l Course in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or from the Institutes recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.

Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notifications declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric /10th class pass for service under Central Government

Note: Candidates applying for the posts of Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carrier), and Constable (Waiter) must have completed the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level-1 Course in Food Production or Kitchen work. This course should be from institutes recognized by the National Skill Development Corporation or affiliated institutions, and must be completed on or before the cut-off date of 23-08-2025.

Age Limit

Minimum Age Limit of a candidate must be 18 years and maximum age limit of a must be 25 years

Selection Procedure for BSF Constable Recruitment 2025
