On November 2, late night a BJP worker in Samaguri, Nagaon, Assam was brutally attacked by unidentified miscreants, which left him gravely injured.
The victim, identified as Akbar Ali, was attacked while riding his motorcycle towards home from Kesakhaiti market. Following the attack, he was promptly rushed to the Kawaimari Hospital but later referred to Nagaon due to seriousness of his injuries for advance medical treatment.
Related to incident, three Congress party offices in Nagaonโs Samaguri were vandalized the same night.
Witnesses report that over a hundred miscreants arrived in vehicles and launched coordinated attacks on party offices in Laokhowa Shanti Bazar, 4 No Bogamukh, and 6 No Bogamukh. The attackers destroyed the offices, causing significant damage.
These violent incidents have caused unrest in the area, local police and administration rushed at the scene and intiated an investigation into the matter.
Police have begun investigating as tensions rise, and community members express increasing concern about the growing political violence.
