A henieous crime took place in Bengaluru, where a student has been raped by Two College lecturers and their friend on multiple times and blackmailing her.
According to reports, the incident came into light after the victim submitted a complaint to the Karnataka State Women’s Commission, which directed the police to take swift action.
The accused have been identified as Narendra, a physics lecturer; Sandeep, a Biological lecturer and their Friend Anoop, who work at a private college in the city, where the victim was a student.
According to police complaints, the accused Narendra first invite the student, promising to share the academic notes. He then allegedly took her friends Anoop house, where she was raped. The situation worsened when Sandeep allegedly used a video recording of the initial assault to blackmail the student and went on to sexually assault her again, according to the report.
Later, Anup is accused of threating her with Alleged CCTV footage of her visiting in his room and allegedly he also raped her.
The incident has took place over a month ago, the student only recently informed her parents about the incident. A formal has filed with Karnataka Women’s Commission, which promoted the police to register the case.
“The case was registered on July 5, and based on the victim’s complaint, we have arrested three individuals,” said Ramesh Banoth, Joint Commissioner of Police, East Division, as quoted in the report.
