A Bangladeshi National has escaped from Hailakandi police custody from Silchar Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday (November 20).
The Bangladeshi National identified as Siham Uddin (30), who had arrested 2 month ago for illegally entering India, by Hailakandi Police.
Siham was arrested in Dhanipur, under the jurisdiction of Lala Police Station in Hailakandi district and was later sent to jail. However on November 10, he was admitted to Silchar Medical College and Hospital, due to health issue.
During Siham’s stay at hospital, three police was assigned for guard. But on Wednesday, he somehow managed to escape from the Police and fled from the Silchar Medical College. Meanwhile Hailakandi Police has launched man hunt to arrest the escaped Bangladeshi Nationals. Further investigation is going on.
