An Air Force Training Jet Crash in School in Dhaka, Bangladesh on July 21, 2025. Death Toll Rises 16.
According to reports, The crash occurred shortly after 1:00 PM (local time) on Monday when a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara. The building, which housed many students at the time, caught fire following the crash, resulting in numerous injuries and fatalities.

Two bodies have been confirmed at the National Burn Institute, while at least 50 people, including women and children, are currently under treatment with severe burn injuries. Additional injured students have been admitted to various hospitals in the Uttara area.
Among the deceased are Md. Tanvir Ahmed, a student of Class 8 (English version), and Junaid, a student of Class 3.
The incident was confirmed on Monday (July 21) by Dr. Bidhan Sarkar, Head of the Burn Unit at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He stated, “A third-grade student named Junaid Hasan has died here. So far, four people including women and children have been admitted. The injured include Raiyan (14), Jarif (12), and Shabuj Begum (40).”
The patients began arriving at the emergency unit after 2:30 PM.
