Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam had trapped red handed and arrested an ASI of Assam police in connection of Bribery Case in Hailakandi.
According to information, a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam has launched an operation in Hailakandi after a complaint filed against ASI from a complainant.
The Assam Police identified as ASI Khurshed Ali of Abdullapur Patrol Post, PS-Lala, Distt-Hailakandi. He has been trapped while accepting Rs.5000 of bribe near the Patrol Post, immediately. It has been said he demanded the bribe from the complainant for giving him relief in a case.
The Anti-Corruption yesterday, stated in X, “Today @DIR_VAC_ASSAM trapped red handed ASI Khurshed Ali of Abdullapur Patrol Post, PS-Lala, Distt-Hailakandi, near the Patrol Post, immediately after he accepted bribe from the complainant for giving him relief in a case.”
