Actor Sharad Kapoor accused of sexual harassment by a 32 years old woman, who claimed to be invited her by him to his home of discussing a project.
Sharad Kapoor, known for film Josh, LOC Kargil and Lakshya has accused of misbehavior and inappropriate touching by a 32-year-old woman. The woman had filed a complaint against him at Khar Police Station in Mumbai. She also alleged that actor Sharad Kapoor invited her at his home, where he misbehaved with her.
According to the Khar police in Mumbai, a 32-year-old woman has filed a complaint alleging misconduct by an actor. The victim claimed that the actor invited her to his house, where he attempted to misbehave with her and forcibly touched her inappropriately.
The victim stated that she first contact the Actor Sharad Kapoor through Facebook and later communicated with him through video calls. Reportedly the actor told her that he wanted to meet to discuss on project. He than sent her location, asking her to come at the office in Khar. However, upon arriving she discovered that it was not office but his home.
When she reached at the third floor of the building, a man opened the door and Sharad found inside. He than voiced her to come in, which was a bedroom.
Later, in the evening he sent the woman a WhatsApp message by using foul language. After that the victim narrate all the incident with her friend. Her friend than approach her to file a complaint against the actor at nearby police station. ย
An FIR has logged against the Actor Sharad Kapoor under section 74 (Assault or use of criminal force against a woman), 75 (sexual harassment) and 79 (insult the modesty of any woman) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. No statement has issued by the actor.
Further investigation is going on.
