Cachar Police on Thursday night launched an operation in the area of Tarapur Police Station, Silchar. Two persons arrested in connection with it.
Based on secret information Cachar Police, launched operation on Thursday night in the area of Tarapur in Silchar. In this operation they managed to arrest two person connection of it. The police also recovered 10 soap cases containing 128 gram of suspected heroin from them. According to police the seized items have an estimated value of several lakh rupees.
The name of the two drugs peddler identified as M.D Ali and Rohoman.
Earlier, Karimganj Police launched operation in two different location. From Karimganj Bypass a Van was intercepted by Karimganj police and recovered 2 Lak yaba tablets from it. The worth of the seized items would be 20 crore. They also arrest an accused in connection of it. The name of the arrested person identified as Selim Uddin residents of Patharkandi.
On another operation Karimganj Police arrested a co-driver of a truck with 1.2 kg suspected heroin. The worth of the seized item would be Rs.2 Crore.
