Independence Day 2024: We Indian are set to celebrate 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024. On this day India has get freedom from the British rule.

We Celebrate the Independence Day to show respect and honour of the freedom fighters who gave life for freedom.

The celebration of the day starts with Flag hoist. Prime Minister of India hoist the National flag in Delhi Red Fort in the early morning and then all the celebration started. This year Narendra Modi will hoist the National Flag of India and this will be 11th consecutive Independence Day as PM.

The Theme of Independence Day 2024 is ‘Viksit Bharat’ which means ‘Developed India’. The theme Viksit Bharat is the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of independence.
