A family of seven member including two children burn alive when their car caught fire after an incident in Rajasthan ’s Sikar. This incident took place on 14 April 2024 at the time of afternoon.
The family who died were residents of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. On the day of the incident they were returning from the Salasar Balaji Temple in Salasar, Rajasthan.
How did the Rajasthan Accident Occure
According to the Police, the accident happened when the car driver tried to pass a truck while driving towards Churu on Churu-Salasar High Way. In the time of overtake he saw another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, the driver swerved to avoid it, and collided into the truck.
The LPG gas kit burst that caught fire because of the crash, and the cotton in the truck made the fire bigger.
Even though people nearby tried to help, the passengers in the car couldn’t open the doors because of the fire. They got trapped inside and couldn’t escape, so they died in the fire.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police (Fatehpur Circle) Rampratap Bishnoi said, “Near Arshiwad Pulia, the car crashed into a moving truck from behind, after which it caught fire. Seven people, including three women and two children, in the car were killed.” An Eyewitness of the incident named Ramniwas Saini said that the passengers were shouting for help, but because of the fire, he couldn’t help them.
The fire brigade also arrived immediately in the scene where the incident occured. But unfortunately, the family already passed away from their injuries by the time the fire was extinguished.
The deceased family member identified as Neelam Goyal (55), her son Ashutosh Goyal (35), Manju Bindal (58), her son Hardik Bindal (37), his wife Swati Bindal (32), and their two minor daughters.
The Truck drivers and conductor managed to escape from the scene.
