Assam has witnessed two separate road accident in two areas, in which three people died and one injured.
In the wee hours of August 16, Friday a road accident took place at National Highway 17 in the area of Chapar, Dhubri, Assam. A truck collided head-on with a four-wheeler which results death of two individuals and one injured critically. The truck was en route to Bongaigaon collided head-on with a Maruti Swift Dzire This accident took place at Mowatari in Chapar town.
The people who died in the accident are identified as Inamul Hussain and Shahidul Islam, both from Tintila near the Dhubri-Kokrajhar border. Another person, Naushad Ali, was seriously injured. The police recovered the body from the scene.
Another accident took place in Goalpara district of Assam, on Thursday night, where a biker was run over by a truck.
This accident occurred at Deoshila in Dhupdhara of Goalpara district. The name of the biker identified as Surajit Rabha, who was a Dudhnoi College.
After the accident the truck driver fled from the scene. The police arrived at the started searching the vehicle which involved in the accident.
