A tragic school Van accident has taken life of a 6 years old girl and a teacher life in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh on July 18, 2025.
On July 17, Friday, a school van collided head-on with a truck on the Hasanpur-Gajraula road in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, in which a 6 years old girl died on spot and a teacher died during treatment. 16 other injured.
A circle officer Deep Kumar Pant stated, “One child has died on the spot and a teacher passed away during treatment. Legal action is being taken, and the injured are receiving medical care.”
The accident occurred around 7:20 a.m., when the van after picking students and staff from Hasanpur town was on its way to International Public School located in Sahsoli village.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Anaya, a young student from Hasanpur, and Nisha (30), a school teacher who succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the Amroha district hospital.

Among the 16 injured are the van driver, Vishesh Kumar from Sahsoli village, two staff members, and 13 schoolchildren. Local residents immediately rushed to help and initiated rescue efforts before emergency services arrived.
“Everyone was taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC), from where five children were later referred to the district hospital for advanced treatment,” said a police official.
The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
