On December 4, a woman died and son injured critically in Stampede, at a theater who went for “Pushpa 2: The Rule” Premier show in Hyderabad. The incident took place at around 10 pm, at Sandhya 70 mm theater at the bus RTC Cross Roads near Musheerabad.
According to information, Pushpa 2: The Rule” Premier show has taken place in several theater, Sandhya 70 mm theater is among the one. At the theater the crowd broke out at around 10:30 pm when Allu Arjun along with director team arrived at the theater, thousands of fans rushed inside the theater in a frenzy to see his glimpse.
Following the Crowd, stampede-like situation occurred outside the theater. In this situation the family of woman (39 years old) with son, husband and daughter were standing outside the theater door, who pushed down by the crowds. While Bhaskar the husband and daughter somehow managed to escaped from the situation but the woman died and son critically injured.

The died woman was identified as Revathi, who came with her husband Bhaskar, son and daughter for the premier show of Pushpa-2: The Rule, for which they had booked the ticket in advance.
A police official stated, “She, along with her husband Bhaskar (42), son and daughter from Dilsukhnagar area, came to the theatre at around 9:30pm for the premier show of Pushpa-2: The Rule, for which they had booked the ticket in advance.”
Police also stated, “What compounded the chaos was the arrival of the hero, along with the film crew, to Sandhya 70 mm, to watch the show. This led to a stampede-like situation, as the frenzied fans surged forward to have a glimpse of the actor.”
The woman and son were rescued by an alert police constable, in a stated of unconscious. The constable also performed CPR on the woman and sent them to Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital for immediate treatment. Upon Arrival at the hospital doctor declared woman dead, while son condition was critical and was immediately sifted to a KIMS Hospital in Begumpet in Banjara Hills.
While the woman dead body was transferred to mortuary. A case has been registered in the incident.
