The candidate need to passed the UP Preliminary Examination Test 2023.
A Candidate must hold a degree in B.Sc. (Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Hons) or B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering).

The age of the candidate are set with a minimum age limit of 21 years and a maximum age limit of 40 years as of July 1, 2024.

Selection Process
The selection process for UPSSSC AGTA Recruitment 2024 involves two stages:
1.Written Exam: The mains written exam is an objective type test lasting for 2 hours and carrying a total of 200 marks. This exam comprises four sections:
- General Intelligence Test
- General Knowledge
- General Science and Arithmetic
- General Hindi
- Each section consists of 50 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark.
2.Document Verification: After the mains written exam, document verification will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. During this stage, candidates must present their original documents and certificates pertaining to their educational qualifications, age, category, domicile, etc.
