An unidentified person’s dead body found in drain near Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Gorchuk, Guwahati on October 30, Wednesday morning.
According to some sources, a dead body floating in the drain near ISBT, of Gorchuk area close to Srimanta Sankardev’s Satra located, Guwahati. A passerby discovered in a decomposed state, who then immediately called police.
The identity of the dead person was not known yet and caused of death is yet to be disclosed.
Police later arrived at the scene, recovered the dead body and sent to Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for postmortem examination.
Further investigation is going on to know about the reason behind the death.
