On Saturday a mass shooting took place in Memphis city of Tennessee state of US. According to police reports at least two people died and around 14 people injured in this incident. The Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis said that at least 2 people died, where about 300 people gathered in the place where the incident took place.
The shooting incident took place at Orange Mound Community Centerin Memphis city, where many people gather for party meeting.
As of Saturday night no suspects has arrested in connection of the incident. In late night some of the top Police official said that through there Official X Page, “At 7:19 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 Block of Carnes Avenue regarding a shooting. Officers located five victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds on the scene. Three of whom were transported to area hospitals in critical condition, and two males were pronounced deceased. Officers were notified that 11 additional gunshot victims arrived by private vehicle at area hospitals as well, for a total of 16 victims.
This was a block party that was occurring without a permit. There were approximately 200-300 people were in attendance.”
According to update by the Police there were only 8 total victims, with two of those who being deceased on the scene. Only one of sic remains critical condition at Regional one. One victim has since released.
They also added, “We believe the error occurred with several victims being reported multiple times.”
