Two auto driver arrested for raping a woman and attacking a man in KR Puram Railway Station, Bengaluru on Wednesday night. Police arrested the accused.
According to reports, the woman along with her brother was returning from Kerala to Bihar. At around 1:30 pm they deboarded from train and was heading towards Mahadevapur for food. There two auto-rickshaw driver attack the brother and allegedly raped the woman.
The accused identified as Ashif and Syed Mushar in the FIR by Police. The locals rescued the woman after listening woman screaming and managed to catch one of the accused. Locals than handed over the accused.
Following investigation following arrested the other accused.
A Case has been registered against the accused and investigation is going on.
On April 2 at 1.30 am, a woman and her brother were travelling to a hotel for lunch, on the outskirts of Mahadevpur police station limits of outer ring road, Bengaluru, when two auto rickshaw drivers (accused identified as Ashif and Syed Mushar in the FIR by Police) attacked the man and allegedly raped the woman. Both accused have been arrested by the police. A case has been registered at Mahadevpur police station, and further investigation is underway,” says Shivakumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Whitefield Division, Bengaluru City reported ANI.
