Massive fire broke out at a house and destroyed a newly built house, leaving a struggling family homeless, in Islamabad village under Dholai Police Station on April 2.
According to reports, the fire broke out at 7:30 pm on April 2 at the home of Rahim Uddin, rapidly engulfing the tin-and-bamboo structure. The house is in a remote location therefore lack of a nearby water source, the fire could not be controlled, resulting in a total loss.
Rahim Uddin, along with his wife Majmunnahar Begum and their two children, had moved into the house on the same day. The land had been gifted to them by Majmunnahar’s father. That night the fire broke out, but the family was away of the house.

Majmunnahar and the children were at her father’s house, while Rahim had gone to their previous rented home to collect belongings.
The house does not have electricity and no active stove was there in the house. The question arises that how fire broke out. Rahim Uddin expressed deep sorrow, saying the fire destroyed everything, including essential documents and household belongings, leaving them with nothing.
