Karimganj Truck Accident: On June 9 a devastating Truck accident happened where one truck driver lose his life. The accident occurred at the road of Karimganj town Lagua Chargola area.
According to reports, two heavy loaded truck which was coming from opposite direction collided head on the accident occurred. TR01 AV 1758 truck was coming from Tripura and going towards Guwahati and AS 01 PC 8585 truck which was fully loaded and entering Karimganj collided head on.
The driver of TR01 AV 1758 died in spot. The locals recovered the dead body from the truck and took it to the Karimganj Civil Hospital. Some locals said that the incident took place at around 2.00 am, June 9. The collision was so strong that it had take the life of the Shankar Das the truck driver.
The Dead driver identified as Shankar Das, a resident of Tripura. The driver of the another truck fled immediately from the scene after the accident. The police launched an investigation on this matter and they also searching the fled driver.
