The train Service restore on Lumding-Badarpur Hill Section after Tripura, Lokmanya Tilak Express Derailment at Dibalong on October 17, 2024 at around 3.55 pm. The first train no 12503 (SMVT Bengaluru – Agartala) Express pass through the accident affected section of Dibalong Station at 09:48 hours.
On October 17, at around 3.55 pm train no. 12520, Agartala – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, derailed at Dibalong station. The train’s eight coach, including power car and engine from track. Thankfully no casualties and major injuries reported from the affected area.
After the incident several train has cancelled or either reschedule or short-terminated. In the accident effected area accident relief train and accident relief medical train promptly visited along with officials of division to supervise the rescue and restoration works.
