Student Attacked for Refusing to Help Peers Cheat During HSLC Exam in Cachar

A Student has brutally assaulted by a group of students for refusing to let others copy his answers during the ongoing HSLC exam in Cachar, Assam. The incident took place at Bam Bidyapith High School HSLC examination center at Dholai, Cachar on February 26.

According to reports, a student name Rajib Hussain, an HSLC exam candidate, was pressured by fellow examinees, including one identified as Gule Ahmed, to let them copy from his answer sheet. But he refused to show them his answer sheet.

However, this refusal has led to a heated argument inside the examination hall. Although invigilators intervened and controlled the situation. After the exam end the dispute escalated into violence.

After Exam ended, the moment Rajib stepped out of the examination center, he allegedly waylaid by Gule Ahmed and a group of students. They brutally attacked him, which left him seriously injured.

Following the incident, parents filed a formal complaint against the students who attacked Rajib Hussain. Further investigation is going on.
