RRB Technician Recruitment Educational Qualification
Technician Grade-I Signal:
The Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in computer science/ Physics/electronics/information technology from any recognized college. Must have 3 years diploma in Engineer in basic streams given From any recognized college or University. Degree in engineering from a recognized college
Technician Grade III
(1) The candidate must be Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade. (OR)
(2) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trade.
RRB Technician Recruitment Age Limit
For the post Technician Grade-I Signal a candidate must be the age between 18-36 years old.
Technician Grade III a candidate must be the age between 18-33 years.

RRB Technician Recruitment Selection Process
- Computer Based Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
RRB Technician Exam Details:
There will be a computer-based test (CBT) with a total duration of 90 minutes & total number of 100 questions.
There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, with a deduction of 1/3 of a mark for each wrong answer.
The marks will be normalized for CBT held in multiple shifts.
The minimum pass percentage for eligibility is:
- UR & EWS: 40%
- OBC (NCL): 30%
- SC: 30%
- ST: 25%
These percentages may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates in case of shortage.
The marks scored in the CBT will be used to shortlist candidates for further stages of the recruitment process.
