Railway Recruitment Board invites eligible candidate for the recruitment of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant post. Eligible candidate can apply online within 23.59 hours of 30.11.2025. Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational /technical qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.

RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian

Educational Qualification

1. Junior Engineer (Electrical):

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering,
  OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of these basic disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.

2. Junior Engineer (Civil):

• Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (three years duration),
  OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of the basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

3. Junior Engineer (Track Machine):

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering,
  OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of these basic disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.

4. Junior Engineer (Mechanical):

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation and Control / Tools and Machining / Tools and Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering,
  OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of the above disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.

5. Junior Engineer (Diesel Electrical):

• Three-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering,
  OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of these basic disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.

6. Junior Engineer (S&T / Telecommunication):

• Three-year Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering,
  OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of these disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.

7. Depot Material Superintendent:

• Three-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

8. Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry as subjects,
  with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
