On 9 June, in a terrorist attack nine people died and 41 people injured on a passenger bus in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. On Tuesday, 11 June, the Jammu and Kashmir police released a sketch of terrorist and announced Rs.20 lakh reward for information about him.
The bus was going to Shiv Khori temple to Mata Vaishnov Devi shrine in Khatra. The incident occurred in Teryath village in Pouni area of Reasi district at around 6:10 pm according to Police. Terrorist open fire on the bus, the driver lost control the bus and it fell into George.
It said that bus was carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi. The police said, “Reasi police announce a reward of ₹20 lakh for truthful information about the terrorist who involved in the recent attack on the yatri bus in the area of Pouni.”
The sketch of terrorist has made on the basis of eye witness description. The police also appealed to people to provide the information.

All efforts are under way. 11 team of security personal are working on the ground to track the terrorist.
The Jammu & Kashmir Police suspected that Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group may be behind this attack.
Jammu & Kashmir lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on June 10 has announced an ex gratia of Rs.10 lakh to each kin of the died and 50,000 for each injured people in Reasi terror attack.
