OICL Assistants Recruitment 2025 for 500 Vacancy: Freshers can apply

The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) has released a notification for the 2025 year recruitment of Assistants in Class III cadre. There are total of 500 Vacancies. Those who are eligible and interested can apply. The online application has started from 2^nd August and will continue till 17 August, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

 A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:—

a) a citizen of India,

b) a subject of Nepal,

c) a subject of Bhutan

Educational Qualification

A Candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/HSC/Intermediate/Graduation level. Candidates should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 31.07.2025.

Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State/UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential.

Selection Procedure OICL Assistants Recruitment 2025

The selection process will consist of online test (Preliminary & Main Examination). Candidates qualifying in the Main Examination will further shortlisted for Regional Language Test before the final selection.

Tier I – Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test):

Tier II – Main Examination (Online Objective Test):

Penalty for Wrong Answer (Applicable to both-Preliminary and Main Examination) There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Online Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to Page 11 of 46 that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. No marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions.

REGIONAL LANGUAGE TEST;

Candidates shortlisted in the online Main Examination will subsequently called for Regional Language Test to conducted by the Company, at selected centres. The name and address of the Centre, time & date of this test will be informed to the shortlisted candidates on our website. Candidates applying for vacancy under State/UT other than their domiciled State/UT, have to appear and qualify the Regional Language Test in the language of State/ UT for which they have applied.

• Candidates have to go to the Company’s website https://www.orientalinsurance.org.in in Career Section and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
• To register application, choose the tab “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id, Mobile No. etc. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will generated
• Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will possible/ entertained after clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” BUTTON.
• Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘VALIDATE YOUR DETAILS’ and ‘SAVE & NEXT’ button
• Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature
• Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
• Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before “FINAL SUBMIT”
