According to police, the man, identified as Arbaaz Syed, first assaulted his wife after a domestic dispute. Soon after, he confined her inside their home. The situation quickly turned brutal. He allegedly threatened her with a sword. He also warned her of an acid attack.
Moreover, the accused forced her into a painful ‘rooster’ position. She was made to stay like that for nearly four hours. The act caused both physical and mental trauma.
Victim Escapes But Faces Second Attack
However, the victim managed to escape. She ran to her parents’ house to save her life. For a moment, it seemed she was safe. But the ordeal was not over.
The accused followed her there. Soon after reaching, he created a scene. Then, in a fit of rage, he attacked her with a knife. The family raised an alarm. As a result, police were informed immediately.
A police team reached the spot without delay. They detained Arbaaz Syed and brought him into custody. The victim, meanwhile, received medical attention.
Accused Has Criminal History
During investigation, a disturbing detail surfaced. The accused is a history-sheeter. In fact, he has around 19 criminal cases registered against him. This raised serious concerns about his past conduct.
