Merit Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC Minority Students in Delhi is one of the scholarships introduced by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT, Delhi. For the last past years the government of Delhi has been trying to improve the level of education by forming many educational schemes/scholarships. The scholarship is for the students OBC/ST/SC/ Minority category from class i to xii to pursue their studies. The purpose of the scheme is to provide financial help to underprivileged students who cannot afford their education.
Eligibility Criteria for the Merit Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC Minority Students

Some eligibility criteria for the scheme are as follows :-
- Students must belong to SC/ST/OBC/ Minority category.
- Student must be resident of Delhi.
- Studying in public school, government school,KV or Delhi Cantonment Board.
- Have annual income up to RS 200000 for OBC students and Minority students. For SC/ST students there is no income criteria.
- Students must be score minimum of 60 % to 70% marks in the previous class examination.
Merit Scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students in Delhi, Rewards
For SC/ ST Minority
- From class I to VIII RS 1,000 per annum
OBC class VI to VIII
- Students who scored 55% to 60% in previous class get RS 600 per annum.
- Students who scored 60% and above in previous class get RS 720 per annum.
SC/ ST students Class IX & X
- Students who scored 55% to 60% in previous class get RS 1620 per annum.
- Students who scored 60% and above in previous class get RS 2040 per annum.
SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students class XI & XII
- Students who scored 55% to 70% in previous class get RS 3000 per annum.
- Students who scored 70% and above in previous class get RS 4500 per annum.
How to Apply for the Merit Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC Minority Students
Students must apply for a merit scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students Delhi directly from their school or from the Department of Welfare of SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority application form for a merit scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Minority 2021 is beginning now.
