SAHELI SAMANVAY KENDRA SCHEME : Delhi Government has newly announced Sahele Samanvay Kendra for empowering the women across the state. This initiative was announced by Deputy CM Manish Sisodia at the time of presenting state budget for the year on March 9, 2021. Under this initiative, 500 anganwadi hubs will be established across the state to promote individual start up as well as SHGs. This initiative mainly focuses on empowering women by assisting them to start small businesses in the state. The state government has set aside a budget of RS 4750 crores for the Department of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development and Welfare of SC / ST / OBC.
Benefits & Objectives of Saheli Samanvay Kendra Scheme
The main objective of the initiative is to make women self-reliant and independent thuis improving their overall conditions.
It aims to increases the employ-ability of women in the state
This initiative would promote individual start ups by women & Self-Help Groups
This will promote various employment and self-employment opportunities for women.
Training will impart under this initiative through anganwadi hubs.
It aims at making the Women Aatmanirbhar that is self reliant and self sufficient.
It also aims at improving the overall socio-economic welfare conditions of women as a whole.

Eligibility Criteria for Saheli Samanvay Kendra Scheme
Some eligibility criteria for the scheme are as follows:-
Applicant must be resident of Delhi
Only Women candidates of Delhi can apply this scheme
The applicant should belong to Economically Weaker Section.
Documents Required For Saheli Samanvay Kendra
Residential proof : Candidates will have their residential proof and it can be electricity bill or ration card.
Identity proof : Appliers need to submit a copy of their identity proof and it can be Aadhaar card or voter card.
Features of the Scheme
This will assist ladies with partaking effectively in the economy of the state and for this the public authority will set up new Anganwadi focuses.
Under the plan, the state administration of Delhi will set up 500 new Anganwadi focuses in the state.
The public authority of Delhi has made an arrangement of RS 4750 crore to think of the plan. It will work for the Department of Social Welfare, Women & Child Welfare Development.
