An incident took place in Nadia district, West Bengal, where a man bite wife’s nose as husband said that his wife is very beautiful and also her nose is very nice. The brutal incident took place in the Berpara area of ward number 11, under Santipur police Station in Nadia.
Police have arrested the husband, based on the complaint of the wife. The arrested husband identified as Bapa Sheikh a resident of Berpara area, Nadia district of West Bengal.
The reason behind incident? The husband, reportedly intoxicated, suspected her of being involved in an extramarital affair due to her beauty — particularly her attractive nose, which was often praised by friends and relatives.
Suspecting her of having an affair, the drunk husband bit off a part of her nose while she slept. When she tried to stop him, he also bit off part of her finger. The woman has filed a complaint with the Shantipur police, accusing her husband of attempting to kill her. The police have started an investigation, and the incident has caused a major stir in the local area.
According to local sources, the woman Madhu Khatun married Bapan nine years ago. They married in love. They have an eight-year-old daughter. But Bapan allegedly used to drink alcohol and often beat her, he also mentally tortured her.
On Friday night, he bites her nose, while she was sleeping and chewed a part of it. The woman immediately woke up in pain. She tried her husband to stop but, he bit off a part of her left finger and ate it. When she tried to scream, the husband tried to strangled her.
She somehow managed to escape from the house at that situation. On Saturday, she filed written complaint against her husband Bapan Seikh. Based on the complaint police arrest the accused on Saturday night and produced him before court on Sunday.
