IPL 2025 Match will start again from May 17, 2025 and its final will take place on June 3. The IPL match was suspended due to the recent tension between India and Pakistan after Operation Sindoor. The decision of resuming the remaining match taken after ceasefire on May 10.
During operation Sindoor the India has destroyed 9 terrorist camp, killing 100 of terrorist.
Following thorough discussions with government and security agencies, as well as all major stakeholders, the Board has resolved to continue with the rest of the season.
BCCI stated, “After extensive consultations with government and security agencies, and with all the key stakeholders, the Board has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season.”
The BCCI has announced that the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, which was called off on May 24 in Jaipur, will be replayed. As a result, the league stage will now conclude on May 27, with the playoffs set to begin on May 29. Originally, the IPL final was scheduled for May 25.
