Selection Procedure (Simplified Summary):

  1. Merit-Based Selection: Candidates will be selected banking outlet–wise based on graduation marks percentage. The Bank may also conduct an online test if required.
  2. Tie-Breaker: In case of equal marks, seniority in DoP service will be considered; if still tied, older age will determine selection.
  3. Marks Calculation: Candidates must enter their exact percentage (up to two decimals), calculated from total marks in all subjects/semesters. Rounding off is not allowed.
  4. Grade Conversion: If only grades (CGPA/GPA) are given, they must be converted to exact percentage using the official university formula. Incorrect entries will lead to rejection.
  5. NOC Requirement: Applicants should obtain No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent organization before applying.
  6. Document Verification: Candidates must produce
    • Record of any major/minor penalties in the last 5 years.
    • Vigilance Clearance Certificate from their Divisional/Sub-Divisional Head.
  7. Joining: Appointment at IPPB will start only after completing relieving formalities from the parent organization.
  8. Final Results: The list of qualified and finally selected candidates will be published on the official website.
