A Female Travel blogger and YouTuber from Haryana among 6 other arrested by Civil Lines Police on May 17, in Hisar on charges of spying for Pakistan.
They provide information to the Pakistani operatives like WhatsApp, Telegram and Snapchat.
The spy network covered areas in Haryana and Punjab, with main members working as agents, handling money, and sharing information.
Arrests were made from Kaithal, Panipat and Nuh, while a female YouTuber, Jyoti Malhotra, was taken into custody from Hisar.
The Female YouTuber From Haryana arrest
The female YouTuber from Haryana, Jyoti Malhotra run the YouTube channel “Travel with Jo”. Officials revealed that in 2023, she traveled to Pakistan using a visa arranged by commission agents. During the visit, she reportedly formed close ties with Ehsan-ur-Rahim, also known as Danish, a staffer at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
Danish was declared non grata by the government of India and kicked out on May 13, 2025. He, accused of introducing Jyoti to several Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs).

According to investigators, Jyoti stayed in contact with these operatives through encrypted platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat. One operative, Shakir — also known as Rana Shahbaz — was saved in her contacts under the alias “Jatt Randhawa.”
She is accused of sharing sensitive information related to Indian locations and was reportedly used to promote a favorable image of Pakistan on social media. Authorities also claim she developed an intimate relationship with one of the PIOs and even accompanied him on a trip to Bali, Indonesia.
Jyoti has charged under Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923. A written confession has secured, and the case currently handling by the Economic Offences Wing in Hisar.

- Devinder Singh Dhillon – Sikh student from Kaithal, Haryana; accused of sending videos of Patiala cantonment
- Arman – From Nuh, Haryana; involved in SIM card supply, fund transfers, and espionage visits (e.g. Defence Expo 2025)
Guzala, 32 years old widow from Malerkotla, Punjab went to Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on February 27 to apply for visa. There she met Danish, who gained her trust by promising marriage, initiated relationship through chat and video calls. Danish soon switched her from WhatsApp to Telegram, claiming is safer. They talk regularly.
Over time, Guzala received money from Danish:
- ₹10,000 via PhonePe on March 7.
- ₹20,000 via Google Pay on March 23.
Later he Instructed to forward ₹10,000 in parts to different recipients, ₹1,800, ₹899, ₹699, and ₹3,000.
Guzala again returned to the High Commission on April 23, accompanied by friend Banu Nasreena. Where Danish helped both to get their visas issued the next day.
Yameen Mohd from Malerkotla, Punjab, who Collaborated with Danish, involved in financial transfers and visa-related tasks.

Devinder Singh Dhillon, a Sikh student from Kaithal, Haryana recruited during a pilgrimage to Pakistan. He allegedly shared videos of the Patiala cantonment.
Arman from Nuh, Haryana, supplied Indian SIM cards to handlers.He also transferred funds and attended the Defence Expo 2025 to gather information as instructed by PIOs.
Further investigation is going to arrest people in connection with Pakistan Intelligence who shared information to Pakistan.
