Punjab National Bank Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan
Educational Qualification
Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from a University/ Institution recognized/approved by Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
Local Language Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing & speaking) in the specified local language of the state for which they are applying, as mentioned in the State
Experience (Post Mandatory Educational Qualification):
Candidates must possess a minimum of one-year post – qualification work experience in Clerical/ Officer Cadre

PNB Recruitment Selection Procedure
- Online Written test
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for an Online Written Test. The structure of the test shall be as follows:
There will be negative marking for wrong answers. One – fourth of the marks assigned to each question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Screening: The online application and documents submitted by the written test qualified candidates shall be scrutinized by Bank prior to the conduct of Language Proficiency Test (if required)/ Interview to examine whether the candidate fulfils required eligibility criteria.
- Language Proficiency Test: Candidates who have not studied the local language of the State for which they have applied as a subject in 10th or 12th standard will be required to appear in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
