A disturbing Dhubri Murd*r case has come to light in Assam, where a young man lost his life after a violent clash within the family. The incident took place in the Phulkatari area a few days ago. According to reports, the victim, Hasinur Islam, was attacked by his uncle during a heated argument.
The situation quickly escalated. As a result, the youth suffered serious injuries. Family members rushed him to a private hospital in Cooch Behar for urgent treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he could not survive. He passed away while undergoing treatment, which added to the gravity of the Dhubri Murder case.
Soon after the incident, the victim’s family approached the Bondihana police outpost and lodged a formal complaint. This prompted immediate police action.
Accused Tracked and Arrested
Following the complaint, police launched a detailed investigation. They began searching for the accused, Jahirul Islam, who had fled the area. He remained in hiding for several days. However, continuous efforts by the police helped trace his location.
Eventually, a team conducted an operation in the Tipkai area of Kokrajhar district. During this operation, the accused was successfully arrested. Officials confirmed that he is now in custody and being questioned.
During initial interrogation, sources indicated that the crime was linked to an ongoing family dispute. However, police are still verifying all details. They are also trying to understand the exact sequence of events that led to the attack.
Moreover, officers are checking if there were previous conflicts between the two. This could help establish a clearer motive.
