The Delhi Widow Pension Scheme is a program established by the Government of Delhi to offer financial support to widows, divorced or deserted women and women whose husband are missing or have been sentenced to a minimum of 7 years in prision. The scheme offers a pension of RS 2500 per month to eligible recipients. To qualify for the scheme, the applicant’s annual income should not exceed RS 1,20,000 and the applicant must be at least 18 years old.
Delhi Widow Pension Scheme Amount:
Every quarter, through the ECS of the RBI or PFMS beneficiaries of the plan would receive RS 2500 immediately into their bank account. The candidate will start receiving support the following month after submitting their application.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme:
Some eligibility criteria for the scheme are as follows:-
- The candidate must live in Delhi permanently
- The applicant’s age should fall between 18 and 60 years
- The total annual income shall not be more than RS 1 lakh.
Delhi Widow Pension Scheme Update:
The Delhi Widow Pension Scheme is being implemented by the Delhi government for widows and divorced women as you may all be aware. The purpose of the government’s implementation of this program is to give the recipients financial assistance. The beneficiaries of this program receive financial support in the amount of RS 2500 per month. The Government of Delhi’s Ministry of Women and Child Development is responsible for providing this financial support. The applicant must have been a permanent resident of Delhi for at least five years in order to qualify for this plan and as proof of residency the beneficiary must provide the original residence certificate and merit certificate.
The women should be between the ages of 18 & 59. The beneficiary receives the pension payment immediately into their account. Linking the bank account and the Aadhaar number is vital to prevent any disruptions. Only women who are not receiving benefits from another pension plan will be eligible for this scheme’s benefits.
Delhi Widow Pension Application Process Offline:
- Visit th enearest Citizen Service Centre (CSC) first
- Request an application for the Delhi Widow Pension Scheme at the counter
- Complete the application
- Present the necessary document at the counter
- The applicant will be sent to the designated authorities for review
- The applicant will receive the pension amount after verification within the alloted time.
