In a major narcotics operation, Silchar police seized in collaboration with the 38th Battalion Assam Rifles (Srikona) seized a huge amount of Yaba Tablets worth Rs 6 Crore. One person arrested on Sunday afternoon.
Based on tip-off, police along with 38th Battalion Assam Rifles conducted an operation at Chengcoorie Bypass, Silchar at around 2:30 pm on Sunday. In this operation police managed to seized 20,000 of suspected Yaba Tablets along with one mobile phone and arrested one person. The arrested person identified as Rahul Amin (33) a residents of Panchayat Road, Silchar.
The seized items worth would be Rs 6 Crore.

Police officials confirmed that all legal procedures were properly followed, and both the accused and the seized items have been taken to Silchar Police Station for further investigation and necessary legal action.
