Assam Police Sub-Inspector Trapped red handed in Bribery Case

The Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam has arrested a Police Sub-Inspector in bribery case. The SI identified as Subal Ch. Roy, Sub-Inspector of Barama Police Station, Dist- Baksa. He was arrested for accepting bribe to release of complaniant vehicle.

On Thursday, a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam has launched an operation in the Barama Police Station, Dist- Baksa in the Police Station campus based on complainant on bribery case.

According to complaint, SI Subal Ch. Roy accepted bribe from the complainant for release of his vehicle.

Bribery Case

Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam stated, “Today (October 3), a team from the Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam trapped red handed Subal Ch. Roy, Sub-Inspector of Barama Police Station, Dist- Baksa in the Police Station campus after he accepted bribe from the complainant for release of his vehicle.
