Assam Government has announced a scheme name Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2024 on 12 February 2024 in the budget session. The aim of the scheme is to provide financial assistant to the girl student for upper study. As the government will provide monthly allowance to the girl student who will get admission for 11, Graduation and post-graduation.
The government took the step to empower the girls for their bright future. Those girls who could not higher study for money now they can also complete their higher study. The total allocation of this scheme is Rs.240 Crore.

Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2024
Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme was announced on 12 February 2024 during the budget session of 2024-2025. The Government has taken this step for equal opportunities for the girl students who wanted to study. That girl should not be discriminated against the gender for higher education. To empower the girls student the ‘Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina’ has launched.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Assam Government has take the responsibility to educate the girl child.

Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2024 Objective
The objective of the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme is to motivate the girl student to continue their study. The initiative goal is to provide financial supports to the girls student for their higher study such as Higher Secondary, Graduate and post-graduation in any stream. The main aim of this cheme to stop child marraige. Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme will be started from October.
Benefits of Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2024
- The girl student will get allowance or scholarship who will get sdmission for higher study
- The student who will get admission in HS will get Rs.10,000 in a year
- The student who will get admission in Bachelor Degree or Graduation will get Rs.12,500 in a year
- The student who will get admission in post-graduation will get Rs.25,000 in a year
- Any streams student will can apply for the scheme
