On 12 April a government official got trapped red handed for accepting demanded bribe in Assam. The trapped officer is a Senior Assistant officer of the Superintendent of Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Bokajan of Karbi Anglong District, Assam.
Today a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption launched an operation where they trapped Senior Assistant officer of the Superintendent of Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Bokajan of Karbi Anglong District, Assam.
The government official identified as Gurupad Das, Sr. Asstt. of O/O the Supdt. of Food& Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Bokajan, Dist- Karbi Anglong, Assam. He got arrested when after he accept the demanded bribe from the complainant in the office, for renewal of licence.
This news come into fore after the Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption officials announced it through there official X page. They post by stating, “Today @DIR_VAC_ASSAM trapped red handed Gurupad Das, Sr. Asstt. of O/O the Supdt. of Food& Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Bokajan, Dist- Karbi Anglong, after he accepted demanded bribe from the complainant in the office, for renewal of licence.”
Earlier, On 3 April a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam trapped red-handed a Lot Mandal of O/O the Circle Officer. The trapped official identified as Khagen Kalita Lot Mandal of Officer of the Circle Officer, Ghograpar Revenue Circle, Dist- Nalbari. He had allegedly accepted demanded bribe from the complainant in the office, for issuing land sale permission. He reportedly trapped by the official while accepting the bribe money inside the circle office.
