Assam Flood has turned into worse and worse situation. Over 21.1 lakh people has affected in 29 district as many rivers overflow and flood water entered into public area.
The name of the affected districts are Cachar, Kamrup, Goalpara, Nalbari, Morigaon, Sonitpur, Dhubri, Sivasagar, Dhemaji, Biswanath, Bongaigaon, South Salmara, Hailakandi, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Hojai, Lakhimpur, Kokrajhar, Golaghat, Charaideo, Karimganj, Tinsukia, Darrang, Barpeta, Karbi Anglong West, Kamrup (M), Jorhat, Majuli, Karbi Anglong.
Rivers are flowing above the danger level causing Flood in Assam
According to reports by Assam Disaster Management, Brahmaputra (Neamatighat), Brahmaputra (Tezpur), Brahmaputra (Guwahati), Brahmaputra (Dhubri), Brahmaputra (Goalpara), Burhidihing (Chenimari(Khowang)), Dikhou (Sivasagar), Disang (Nanglamuraghat), Dhansiri (S) (Numaligarh), Kopili (Kampur), Kopili (Dharamtul) Barak (AP Ghat), Barak (BP Ghat),Barak (Chotabakra), Barak (Fuletrak),Dhaleswari (Gharmura), Katakhal (Matizuri) and Kushiyara (Karimganj) are all flowing above the danger level. For this reason, the river water is overflowing entering to the area where people live.
Many people of flood affected area has leave their house and are living in relief camp or centers. A total of 698 relief center has been made for the flood affected people. The NDRF and SDRF and many local organizations are in work for rescue for day and night. The Assam Police also monitoring the situation.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Went to flood affected area

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has gone to meet the flood affected people in many areas. He said that flood situation is under control. He also said that if there are no further rains in Arunachal and South Tibet, things will improve.
The death toll rises to 62 from floods. Dibrugarh district affected mostly as 6,48,806 people affect in flood. Darang 1,90,261 people affected, Barpeta 1,31,041 people affected, Cachar 1,45,926 people affected, Golaghat 1,08,594 and Nalbari 1,05,366 people affected and rest of other district.
Total 14,59,806 small and big animals affected from the floods.
An Public alert has issued by the Sumit Sattawan, the Commissioner of Kamrup Metro District Administration cum Chairman of the District Disaster Management.
The advisory effective immediately and urges the residents who are living near the river front, river banks and nearby areas to stay alerted due to increase in water level of the river. This increase in water level can cause risk of breaches, embankment failures, and overflows.
Because of flood wildlife from sanctuary and national park has entering to the Public area in search of food and land.
