Another incident of heat stroke was reported in the area of Barak Valley, Assam. A security guard of BVCL died in the area of Badarpur, Karimganj, due to a heat stroke. Yesterday, the region of Barak Valley recorded 40 degrees Celsius of heat.

Today, May 26, a security guard died because of extreme heat. Since the last few days, the heat has been increasing in the region. Yesterday, it reached over 40 degree Celsius.
The security guard is identified as Amar Sinha, age 38, who is a security guard for Bombay Company. He is the resident of Patharkandi.

Karimganj Security Guard

According to reports, he was posted as a security guard at Barak Valley Cement Company in Badarpur, Karimganj, two days ago. Today, he was doing his duty at the main gate of the company when suddenly he got ill. The employee who was at that time immediately rushed him to the Sri Gouri hospital for treatment. But unfortunately, the doctors declared them dead. After that, the dead body was sent to the Silchar Medicla and Hospital for a mortem.

Earlier a Man died in Cachar District due to heat stroke

Earlier, in Cachar district, a temporary teacher died due to a heat stroke. According to some reports, the incident occurred when the teacher was on the way home after finishing his work duties. Overcome by the intense heat, he suddenly fell down on the road and lost consciousness.

People are advised not to go out of the house if not required to avoid heat during the day. Drink water to keep yourself cool.

Because of the extreme heat, the school timings also change in the three districts of Barak Valley. The DC of Cachar has provided notice regarding school time changes. From tomorrow, the school will start at 7 a.m.
