Earlier Saturday morning, June 29, 2024 a man has lost his life in a road accident in Guwahati City, Assam.
The road accident took place in Guwahati’s Panbazar area near Cotton University in early morning. According to reports, the man was on his scooter bearing registration number ‘AS01 FN 0144’ when a Baleno vehicle allegedly collided with him. After the accident the vehicle drove away by leaving the dead man on the ground.
The exact details of the incident are not yet known. CCTV footage analysis is needed to confirm what exactly happened and to clarify the events which leads up the accident.
The deceased identified as Bhargab Jyoti Barman, a bank employee residents of Barpeta, Asssam. The accident took place when he was on his way to work in the road of Guwahati city, Assam.
After the accident police went to the scene and sent the body to Gauhati Medical College Hospital for post mortem.
