Gujrat Police arrested 14 Fake Doctor with fake certificate, main accused arrested on December 5, 2024. The medical degree issued by the “Board of Electro Homoeopathic Medicine (BEHM) Gujarat”.
Gujrat Police on December 5, 2024 busted on a gang of fake doctors in Surat where class 8 graduates were offered with medical degree, charging Rs 70,000 each. Even this gang in Surat, Gujarat, has been caught with a database of 1,200 fake degrees. Police found hundred of applications, certificates and stamps in their possession.
Police said that the main accused arrested, identified as Rasesh Gujarathi from Surat with two other BK Rawat from Ahmedabad and their associate Irfan Saiyed.
How did Gang of Fake Doctor Busted in Gujrat
Surat Police DCP Zone 4, Vijay Singh Gurjar, said that raids carried out with the Health Officer’s team at the clinics of three doctors. When asked about their degrees, they presented BEMS (Bachelor of Electro Homeopathy Medical Science) certificates, which not recognized by the Gujarat Government. The Health Department confirmed them as fake.
During the interrogation, these doctors revealed about the truth of the degrees they had. The doctors said that they had received the certificate from Rasesh Gujarathi. Rasesh Gujarathi, who had given fake degrees to many people and on the basis of this degree, many doctors are playing with the health of others. This illegal business has been running since 2002 and charged huge amount of rupees.
When the police raid the main accused Dr. Rashesh Gujarati office, they recovered a large number of documents, including seven registration books, 15 renewal cards, and photocopies of various certificates. They also found several fake certificates. Dr. Gujarati admitted that he studied BHMS in the 1990s and worked in trust hospitals, rising from vice principal to principal.
Arrested Individual
The arrested identified as Dr. Rasesh Gujarati, Bhupendra Rawat, Irfan Syed, Amin Khan, Shamim Ansari, Syed Badal, Ismail Sheikh, Tabrish Syed, Rakesh Patel, Rahul Rawat, Shashikant Mahato, Siddharth Devnath and Parth Kalipad.
Surat Police DCP Zone 4, Vijay Singh Gurjar said that a website have registered in his name.
Police have registered a case against all the 13 arrested people under IPC sections 384 and 420. Further investigation is going on.
