Earlier it is said that Zubeen Garg’s post-mortem report to made public tomorrow at 4:00 pm, but it will not made public. SIT Chief and special DGP of CID during media briefing stated that, “The report will not be released at 4 PM tomorrow. It will be submitted directly before the court. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already received the report.”
Special Investigation Team (SIT) Chief and CID Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta on Monday, October 13, briefed the media on the ongoing investigation into the death of renowned singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg. He assured that the investigation is progressing swiftly and strictly in line with legal procedures.
Gupta informed that several key individuals linked to the case have already appeared for questioning, while more are expected to join the investigation in the coming days. “In the next two days, more people will arrive. There is also a possibility that one individual from Singapore will reach today,” he stated.
He also stated that Special Investigation Team (SIT) has sought official permission to travel to Singapore to continue further investigation. He said, “Once permission is granted, the SIT will visit Singapore for further investigation.”
Gupta further clarified that, as per legal procedure, individuals currently under 14-day custody cannot be re-interrogated at this stage. He added that the investigation is being carried out under the guidance of the expert committee’s report, with every procedural norm being strictly followed.
